Exercise care when starting a thread or replying to a post.Certain subjects are controversial and can invoke instant hostility with some people. This includes bashing training philosophies, religions,political affiliations, personal beliefs, race, sex, age, etc. There's little chance someone is going to change your personal views on any given subject, so why try to change someone else's? Members should post in a way that is respectful and mindful of other members. Flaming or abusing members in any way will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning. Further violation after a warning the member will be banned.
The moderating and administrative teams reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to the moderating and administrative teams and not the user. If members note an issue which contravenes this policy they are welcome to bring it to the attention of a member of the Administrative or Moderator Team.
Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance. There is to be NO SPAMMING in the General Chat Forum as well as the rest of this Board. Please don't post links to your site, either in your signature or in the body of the post, without permission of a DogsandChats Administrator. They will be deleted, and if you persist you will be banned. Do not create a user name that is a redirect to another site(e.g. spam.com), or you will be banned. You may not post links to competitors websites and you may not advertise other businesses. There should be NO ADVERTISING allowed on this website unless the member themselves are the sole owner and operator of the posted business and have received clearance from a Dogs and Chats Administrator. Members who are caught posting advertisements to other businesses, competitors or any other type of money making schemes without full clearance and permission from the Dogs and Chats Administrative Team will be warned and/or possibly banned.
Members should post in a way which is consistent with "normal writing". Members should not post excessive numbers of emoticons, large, small or coloured text, etc. Similarly members should not SHOUT or use excessive bolding or punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts. Members consistently abusing this will be warned.
Members should respect the bandwidth of other users and sites. The use of inline ([IMG][/IMG]) image tags pointing to data stored on third party systems for which the user has not received permission to link to may be removed.
No inappropriate avatars, images, photos, and links to potentially offensive sites.What you may find as "art" others might be offended by. Please avoid risque photos and links (nude, semi-nude, terrorist decapitation sites,etc.). No links to direct downloads.This is important. Is the download safe? What are we downloading? Is this a site that will infect your computer with a bunch of viruses and spyware? We don't know! If you have ever had a virus or had your computer taken over before, you know the importance of this.
